Canister impeller

Featured Replies

2 days ago, my canister have a really aoying sound come from impeller. I did some research and found out that I can fix the vibration of the impeller with silicon oil but I dont know which one is safe for aquarium, can anyone show me?

Is it really worth the risk versus buying a new impeller?

What sort of canister do you have?

This is the video how they fix with silicon oil.

I bought from here http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=271046349841. How can I know which impeller is suitable for mine?

I'm pretty sure that's a clone of the Sunsun HW-304B/404B 2000Lph/2200Lph canister filters.

You're in luck. I have a sunsun HW-303B 1000Lph canister, but I bought the HW-304B replacement impeller by mistake recently.

I still have it sitting in my garage doing nothing.

You can have it for free - or in exchange for some cherry shrimps for my new 3ft tank.

pm me your address Hoang.
