Great big thank you to Newbreed

Featured Replies

I have to say a great big thank you to Newbreed. After reading my last post, he very kindly offered me some of his spare minerals that our CBS were in desperate need of. He came by Thursday night and I thought he was dropping off a little bit of extra minerals, but instead he gave us Benibachi Super bacteria bee max, Benibachi Mironecton powder mineral for shrimp, Salty Bee Shrimp Mineral + gh, Prime and helped with trying to trouble shoot the problem and shared some of his experience and knowledge!

It was a pleasure to meet you and thank you so much for your generosity.

Way to go Newbreed! I hope it helps solve the problem Jenbenwren :) Good luck!

It was a pleasure to meet you and your family Jen! Just wish we could have gotten to the bottom of the problem. Think I was too focused on the awesome berried red cherries. :)

Such a beautifully setup tank. Hope it settles soon.

Like I said, happy to pay forward the kindness and generosity that other forum members have extended to me over the last year.

Awesome work NB, love the SKF love! :thumbsu:

Thanks Newbreed :-)

It looks like they are all berried again now and there are little red shrimplets everywhere!

I added a little bit of the mineral powder after you left and I topped up their tank yesterday and added the Bee shrimp + gh to the water that went in and there all still alive! One of the crystals that had lost most of his color has his white bands back again and instead of slinking around the one piece of wood, he's scurrying and swimming around everywhere. Even some of the Cherrys are looking redder.

That's fantastic news Jen, glad to hear it's working out! :D
