I can spend hours watching the shrimp. The tank is in the lounge between 2 comfy recliners and much prefer to watch them than what's on tv most of the time lol.

I think we have one female CBS and by the way the others were going crazy doing their version of the shrimptona 5000 and crashing into everything the other day, there's a chance she developed her 1st saddle and a slim chance she may be berried.

Congrats on things settling down! Fingers crossed for CBS berries!

It's amazing how time disappears when shrimp staring!

That's fantastic news! Sounds like you're definitely on the right path now, well done! :D

It doesn't look like Mrs Brownnose is berried but she doesn't climb the glass any more so I can't get a good look. She's still young so there's plenty of time and one of the other juvies that hides a lot may be female. She has a similar body shape to Mrs Brownnose but is still little so will wait and see.

It turns out we do still have 7! We must've been lucky and given 11!

Its always good news when things settle down. As they said its always good to have the test kits incase something goes wrong.

I got 50% off from one of my old LFS when i lived in sydney after a bunch of fish i brought from there wiped out my whole community tank with disease. Took advantage of it and brought a albino short fin bristle nose and bred them with a female lol

I picked up a nitrate test kit and 3 Neon Paecox for our com tank. I've been wanting to add some rainbows to our fishtank for ages so I had to get a boy and 2 girls while I had the chance. There's still a little left but I'm still debating on what to get next.

Hi Jenbenwren,

Glad to hear things are back on track. I'm way out of the picture with my shrimp at the moment due to being out of work a while already.

However I can help with some RO water if you need it. I put in a system while I still had some funds around. phew! I'm down to one lonely shrimp now in my Fluval nano tank. I hope to get back into it soon.

I'm in Glen Waverley, Victoria. Do you have containers?

Hi Richie.

Thank you so much for your kind offer. I picked up a 2nd RO unit not to long ago that only needed new filters and it's been hard at work with my 3 shrimp tanks since.

What sort of shrimp is your loner? I might have a friend or few to keep it company and I'm near by in Vermont
