3ft planted tank

Featured Replies

Hi all, took some pics of my daughters planted tank. It's nothing special with sponge filters, normal gravel, t8 light, no ferts and no c02.

But anything that I put in there breeds or grows, all the plants have come from high light, c02, fertilised tanks, either cuttings from my cube or leftovers from the massive list in my other thread.

Hope you enjoy.

Added some more plants and an 8 globe t5 light.

Also dosing with ferts and liquid carbon, coming along nicely.

Looking good man well done

She should be pretty happy with her tank, the guppies are breeding the bristlenose are breeding and looks like the snails aren't missing out either. Nothing better than to see young ones get into the hobby - It bit me when I was 5 or 6 and almost 40 years later still lovin the hobby. Nice Mick

Done a trim yesterday and thought the thread could use an update pic.

I now have a pair of apistogramma cacatuodies, and 10 panda cories in there with some leftover cull cherry shrimp and around 150 bristlenose between 2-4cm.
