Australian FISH FARM visit

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Here is a couple of photos from a recent fish farm visit, The one photo I was hoping to get was of a 2,00lt pond with 12,000 Neon's in it, but there was a problem with the breeding a few months ago, so it was not to be.

One of the sheds, excuse the photo, I did not wipe the water off the lense

These Angels are around the 8 to 10cm+ body length, with out the tail. There was 20 ponds of them at that size

I always do that Ninja, so I fixed it. Dyslexia.

It is a big farm and that is only a small bit of it and of course it is up here.

They put out just short of 1,000,000 fish a year, but are not open to the public

Something else they breed

The photo is of my fish form there.

Great Pics Bob!! Thanks for sharing, must be amazing seeing those fish in such large ponds!!

It is a eye opener to see them like that, no filter no system, just ground water running through 24x7.

Most of the photos were taken in the pond with the fish.

Fishmosy should have some to add, Ben was there for a visit to.

What? No shrimp?

Just joking. I'd love to have visited this place as well. Too bad it's so far away.
