I have been using one of these for years. It only holds 4 liters at a time so probably only suitable for smaller aquarims, mine are 30L. There is a tap so you can adjust the speed of the drips, or even slow flow. I use it for water changes and acclimatising new shrimp. Made in USA www.zoomed.com so must be available there, and meant for reptiles?

The link is just so you can see the product from the UK place I get them.

There are some aquarium based ones as well. Here's a few types...

FA18X Aquarium Acclimation System
UP aquarium drip bucket
Accudrip - Drip Acclimation Kit

I would like to get the UP Aquarium Drip Buckets. There's two sizes and I'd probably end up with both... they fit on the corner of tanks with 90° angles  Standard square/rectangular tanks from pet stores.

I have been to US many times, so not surprised you have a lot of alternative products available there!!! It is good that you list them here so people know about what is out there, even if they can't get ALL of them where they live etc. The one I featured only holds 1 US gallon so only any good for small tanks. I expect the ones you list may be LARGER capacities - isn't everything bigger in the US.........

I like the sound of the one that sits on the corner of the tank, the big dripper can either be hung by the handle above the tank, or, as I, sat on the cover of the tank with the pipe poked through the gap around the cover etc.

Actually, the UP Aquarium Drip Bucket isn't readily available. It's not easy to find more than one person, three if I'm that lucky, who carry it/sell it here.

Most of the good shrimp products come from Asia or Germany...

There is nothing more satisfying than DIY, and building your own water change dripper.

I use an old 4L spring water bottle that has one of those spouts that have a tap on it.

Cut a hole on the top to make adding water into the bottle easier. (as per the picture below).

And just turn the tap on ever so slightly until a required drip rate is achieved.

Cost: $4 for the water bottle, which was used at a picnic.

Very ingenious and a lot cheaper than buying something made specifically for the purpose. I haven't seen anything like this in the UK, we never get the range/variety that large countries like US and Australia get. It is good to give people all the alternatives and then they can decide what they want and what is available to them.

I'm sure there will be lots of people interested in your water container. Is it easy to fill or do you use a funnel? Or have you cut a hole in the side/top (the black patch in the photo)? How big is it in water capacity?

Very easy to fill. No funnel needed. The hole is as show in the picture, the black patch is the hole, yes.

That bottle is 4 Litres.

Just thought I would add a picture of the product and how I use it to get maximum water out of the dripper?

I have the up dripper, available in two size, 1000ml and 6000ml, the larger one also has a handle.

pretty cheap, small one is USD 4.8 large one is USD 9.95.

You are correct that it's not readly available, even in Hong Kong, I've only seen it available in one shop.
