KH concerns for neo's in Caridina tanks

Hi everyone, I have read there's a number if shrimp keepers who keep Neo's in with their Bees, Mischlings, Pinto's etc.

I was liking that idea, as the two species don't interbreed, but my question is, will the Cherry's still be happy in such a low KH environment?

I'd live to keep my yellow cherry's with my mischlings, but I still want them to breed etc., Won't they be at a disadvantage is the water parameters aren't their ideal?

Thanks in advance for any & all advice about this [emoji4]

Drip acclimatise them initially, so they don't get a shock to the new conditions.
