Some of my Black cherry's

Featured Replies

I decided to take some pictures of some of my black cherry shrimp, they still are not 100% stable since I am still taking out the occasional pale wild type and dark brown/ chocolate as well as the odd one that has a black body with only a spot of brown on its head or brown stripe down its back. Quite a few of the blacks seem to have a bluish under carriage eg around the legs but overall I am pretty pleased with these guys and happy that apparently Pacific Blue Eyes don't eat cherry shrimp and nor it seems do whiptails (well the species I have don't seem to any way).

Notice the brown/ chocolate behind the black. Also excuse the green spots on the glass the nerites have been a little slack.

@Baccus , don't use photobucket, they don't let you share outside of their network now unless you pay them for a subscription. Upload them here.

Thats a pain because when I posted the pictures where there. I'll have to work out later how to decrease the size of my pictures to upload them directly to the forum.

I know, it's a royal PITA. Related thread fyi:

There are upload limits here for regular members but these are removed for subscription members. This is so I can at least cover some of the storage costs. But hey, once you host them here, they can be shared on any forum or facebook feed without breaking like those photobucket ones.

I am going to need a step by step editorial on how on earth to upload pictures now. I have tried all sorts of things, from attempting to resize my pictures, to using the computers own share options (it just keeps bringing up snapchat, facebook and other options I know nothing about).

Otherwise it seems I will be destined to never post another picture here:(

You should just be able to drag the image into the post reply. I’ll post instructions later when I’m home.

Thank you for showing me how to actually the pictures to the site via, dragging, now I am having issues with resizing. All my pictures exceed the download requirements of the site of 4.3 Mb.

I think I may have worked out how to resize but its going to make a mess of my desktop temporarily posting pic to it.

so here goes

Yay!!!!! it's working.

Yeah, there are some restrictions with regular members, I think the limits are a lot more relaxed with subscription members but I would need to confirm when I get a spare moment.

Ok it looks like if I am quick at locating the pictures that I want to post the site will merge the pictures from two posts into one, which is better than having to post one pic at a time.

Can the top broken photo bucket links be edited out?
