Hi from FL!  I enjoy mixing different colors of neocaridina davidi in my tanks.  My hope is to develop some fun color morphs and patterns!

Welcome @@farmdee6, neo's are a great start. When I first started I threw a bunch of neos into a tank and ended up with a lot with brown/wild colouring. Best to keep the colour variants separate, Then they will 'throw' different colours depending on their line. Welcome again have fun !

Hi Jarad, Thanks for the welcome!

When I first began keeping neocaridina, I read that mixing the different color morphs would result in reverting back to wild coloring.  I decided to do a little experimenting in my "shrimp lab" and the results have been pretty fascinating.  I have 5 unique lines I am working on, and a couple new prospects.  Interestingly, I have had very few shrimp turn brown/become colorless in the process.  It has been really fun!
