Say goodbye again

Today still have to say good bye with another shrimp, may be of mineral issues.... :bow:

That's almost certainly a moulting issue. You can still see it's shell that it's trying to get out of.

How are your water parameters, especially TDS, and GH.

Just another thought ...

What do you feed you shrimp?

Moulting takes considerable amount of energy for a shrimp to go through.

If they run out of strength or energy during the moult they can suffocate and die.

I find feeding the shrimp high protein foods occasionally, can help reduce this problem.

Frozen Blood worms are a good choice here. This meaty treat can give them nutrients and PROTEIN that processed foods can't.

This is something you might be able to try, if there are no visible signs of disease and you can't find issues with water parameter.

Currently my tank parameters are:

* PH: 6.2

* GH: 5

* TDS: 120

* NH3/NH4: 0

* NO2: 0

* NO3: < 10

Thank @jayc so much, I will feed them with more protein food, hope something will fine, hihi

Your parameters look okay.

So try something else, like feeding more protein.

@jayc would it also be possible to have moulting issues due to not enough calcium intake?

Calcium intake issues won't be an impact on moulting, ie. shedding, of their old shell.

Ca (intake) is used for shell formation. So they will need Ca after their moult. Not enough Ca intake will determine how their new shell forms.

Did you have any image for each specific case: lack of mineral, redundant of mineral and lack of energy whe moulting??

No sorry.

How would you take a picture of a shrimp that didn't have enough energy for a moult anyway?

Besides, that was only a suggestion since your water params look great.
