Bladderwort

Featured Replies

Hey just wondering if anyone knows much about - uticularia gibblata (sp?).

I had it in a previous tank and it was growing on the sponge filter. Is it likely to regrow? Sponge has been dried out for at least half a year and ive removed all that I could see on the surface...

Yeh thanks for that :-)

If its been completely dry for a long period of time and it was only in its strand from not actually rooted like a normal plant, then I would think you should be safe from it regrowing.

You could always put the sponge in some water out in sunlight and then check it over the course of a week or two to see if the bladderwort regrows.
