Some of the most glossy shrimp. I know now why people really love their hybrids.

Sweet!

Looking good, nice pics.

Do all (of your) extreme KK's have white tips on their tails?

Mine do because those are the ones I've selected. I have seen extreme KKs without any white, but apparently the shrimp become more and more sensitive as the white disappears - probably something to do with the amount of culling required to breed out the white and the associated decrease in genetic diversity. I like the white tips as they offset the rich black.

Oh I love the white tips - I have 2 little KK's with white tips and 1 small white speck on their bodies.  The tank has dark substrate and often the only way to find them in the tank is to watch for the flash of 4 white dots.  I was wondering if they'd lose the white tips in successive generations.

My understanding is that some white tends to stay unless it is selectively bred out.
