Was checking out the pond snails, which are coping well!

And got another surprise! I love these shrimp!!

So there were two berried girls up until now. Then found another very different one today.

I don't know if the eggs are just freshly developed, or if some colour genes are at play, but these eggs are vibrant!! Enjoy!!

Berry cool !!!

Hi newbreed!  Gorgeous shrimp, and so small when viewed next to the pond snails.  Being "native shrimp", does that mean that they are wild caught?  Did you catch them yourself?  Seeing three berried girls and reading that they are difficult to keep, let alone breed, makes your tank quite the accomplishment!  Keep the pictures and videos coming; living vicariously through your tank!

Hi @uslanja,

thanks. I am pretty wrapt they are doing this well. Will just keep them stable with small occasional feeds and see how they travel.

They were caught from local waterways here in Australia, though not by me, I am that clumsy I would end up swimming down the river. But thankfully an experienced shrimp hunter offered me some, so had to say yes!!

Will try and keep the pics and vids coming !!

Can I ask what food you've seen the most enthusiasm for?   I might get a chance to take another run with the zebs soon and a good food source other than biofilm eludes me.
