When i started my line of tangtai i crossed females tt with males twb as my end goal was to breed backline and fishbones, it is a long process but really enjoyable especially when you start getting results, just make sure to set aside a few tanks for that to avoid inbreeding.

@vshrimp

looks very promising.

Keep us updated with pics of these little fellas as they get older.

They should colour up a bit when they get older.

Congrats!! Looks very promising.

Just an update. After the F1 shrimplets had grown up. I culled the males and kept 3 females. From those females, I then crossed back to a RB. Heres the female berried.

After releasing the eggs, I discovered I may have created some Blue Steels. Heres the pic of the baby.

And now here it is at juvie age. Only found 2 of them and hoping for them to be a pair. Fingers crossed. :D

Also...I'm hoping this one could be a red steel. Might need to work on it but it looks promising.

Here's how the reds are looking. After talking to a reputable breeder. I was told its a red bolt phenotype and that I'm on the right track to breeding Red Steel.

So one of the females finally berried. Father is another Blue Steel that I bought to stabilize the line. So in a way I'm taking a short cut. Who doesn't like taking short cuts lol.

This female has gotten super dark. Drop most of her batch but is still holding on to a few eggs from what I can see. Should be any day now for the release of the shrimplets. 0bf1f5f5d0b47343a081a7f85acb77fd.jpg
