Spirulina ice cubes

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Have you made spirulina ice cubes before ? please let me know how you did it.

Thanks!

It doesn't work very well.

The ice cube floats, which is not where you want it to be. Shrimps feed on the bottom.

And when the ice melts, the spirulina will float around the tank. You might as well just pour the spirulina into the tank.

I came up with my own recipe after many trials. You can see my attempt in the post called, New food type for shrimp - Shrimp Kandy Feast.

Do you mean egg white in the ice cubes?

What would egg white do?

Now I understand.

Well, because I had started on my own project well before Fishmosy posted that article.

I still havent tried that egg white method, so I cannot comment. I'm sure it works well. It's just different methods and ingredients used.
