Hiya all, only JUST getting into 'shrimpin'. I'm on the sunshine coast in Qld... so I haven't seen too much up here yet in the way of shrimp.

Already got my hands on some cherry, yellow cherry (a bit pale but), orange sunkist, & blue/choccys, (both orange & blues from tech den..THANKS!),

Any advice welcomed :)

Welcome to SKF @MrOrange

You are quite lucky I believe some of the best shrimp breeders are based in QLD.

Would enjoy seeing some pics of your shrimp.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks heaps for the welcome.

I've only just got into shrimp the last couple weeks. previously (aprx 5 years ago), i kept African cichlids. I moved around a bit so the tank stayed dry. I ended up getting a smaller new tank w/ intent of getting small tetras & ended up starting w/ shrimp, (of course taking care all water/tank cycling & parameters etc were heeded before purchasing). But, still have a looooong way to go yet.. always keen to learn something new!
