Welcome to SKF, what brings you here? Existing shrimp keeper or getting into the hobby?

  • Author

New to shrimp but not the hobby as I keep a lot of native fish (rainbowfish, blue-eyes, etc.) as well as a decent array of aquatic plants. I honestly just joined so I could see a post (as I had reached the maximum posts allowed to be viewed by a guest). I'm interested in getting further into shrimp, and strangely enough, crabs, too. I'm always on the lookout for rare plants.

@Cryptocorynus welcome!

Joining SKF is the best move you can make LOL.

It would be interesting to see what rare plants you have and are you willing to share any off cuts.

It's funny, I always thought that since Facebook got so popular in the last couple of years that aquarium forums were in the decline, although apparently I was wrong. I have almost nothing to give right now, but I keep plants such as Crinums, Aponogetons, some rare forms of Java Fern, Bucephalandra, Echinodorus, Crypts, Nymphea lotuses, Barclayas, etc.. My prized possession right now is a Crepidomanes auriculatum I was gifted by a member of Aquariumlife, but sadly it seems to be in the decline.
