Thought id start a thread to post pics of my crab, crably! He was caught it fresh/ brackish creek. From what ive observed these crabs are fully aquatic, i do have some drift wood poking out of the water so he can get out if he wants to just incase.

From a guess id say he is a varuna litterata as they are basicly the only freash water crab commonly found in brisbane and go to estuaries to breed then acording to my wild life of greater brisbane book.

Mmmm, prawn dinner at your place!

Buck, if you converted the tank and kept mub crabs instead, we can have prawn and mud crabs for dinner.

I'll bring the beer.

Why a jardini? I reckon barras and whitings would go better with mud crabs and prawns for a real seafood spread. :)
