Hi

I am new to this new hobby, had a one and half feet tank with about 30 shrimps but the shrimps keep dying day by day. Although they managed to reproduce quite a lot , the old ones keep dying. What may be the cause? Tank seems to be stable as it is 3 Months old.

Hi Mikabo,

It's important for us to know what your water parameters are, so we can help you determine a likely cause.

I notice you are in Singapore. Heat can also be a very likely cause. So include the tank water temperature.

Let us know what Ammonia, Nitrite, pH, GH, KH, and TDS parameters if you can.

Let us know what you water change regime is. What you feed the shrimp. What you have in the tank in terms of decorations, stones, wood, etc. What filter are you using and what media is in the filter.

Macro close up pictures of the shrimps or dead shrimps will also help if you have any.

I heard that some Singaporean keepers are having issues with the haze pollution.
