Got the last lot of shrimps yesterday! A few extreme blue bolts, a few shadow panda and a few panda, as pictured below. I acclimated them overnight as before.
I doubt they will breed this year as we are entering autumn now and they are probably too young at this point.
I think it is safe enough to say that this time has been a success! Taken 5 months to this point.
Last weekend I replaced the deceased Betta with some rainbow endler guppies in the other tank, the water is quite hard here and they seem happy enough! It is a great feeling that the tanks are DONE and it is just a case of enjoying from here on, just feeding and routine maintenance etc.
If I get a good photo of the tank and shrimp I will add that, otherwise I don't expect to post further to this thread, unless anyone has questions etc in the future.
In case anyone is interested, the shrimps were from shrimpcorner.co.uk, they seem to be reasonably priced and superb colours. I believe they have won some awards in the past as well if I recall correctly, and I definitely would recommend them (UK based).
