The Betta did die a few days later so that tank only has snails and red cherry shrimp at the moment and I may try half a dozen endler guppies in that tank at some point! If not then another betta? The shrimp tank is doing well. I don't think I have lost a shrimp in the last 3 weeks, since the parameters got better and stable. I plan to get some (10) red wine shrimps in the next few weeks to go in with the blue bolts that have survived. We are having a warm week in the UK and luckily I had ordered a JBL cooling fan for the tank which arrived yesterday,.This morning the tank was 23 degrees when the room was 26 so these things do seem to work, though there was a lot of evaporation overnight involved, so I am dripping in RO water to counter that. There are no baby shrimp or evidence of any berried yet? I did see a planaria a few days ago so have done a treatment for that with the SL Aqua Z1 but that is no chore, just add a scoop and all is done, there isn't a large 'infestation' which would involve a water change or any other additional work, and it doesn't seem to have harmed any snails, yet anyway, that I have seen. The beautiful floating weed I got seems to have vanished, or more accurately morphed into duckweed so I will just let some of that duckweed remain, and keep on top of that.
