You're right. Not in this case. Just got to let them mature and see how they turn out for your shrimps.

Thank you for your reply. I've had them for a month now. They're both still young so as you said, their colours will develop. I don't think they're blue because of stress, my tank parameters are optimal.

I don't think it has any signs of rust disease either from the first picture (can't see picture 2 well enough). The shell loses its shine (looks rough, more like sandpaper) where it is affected and literally looks like 'rust'. Love the 2 tone colour as in photo 1 and it looks a lovely healthy shrimp, but it will probably settle down to just the one colour once properly settled.

I hope it works out and you keep us updated. A bit brave/risky to do the whole tank, I would have just done the separate shrimp first to see how that went! If you don't mind can you let us know what the product is that you are using, for refernce of others in the future etc? You have stated the mixture amount so that is also useful - I assume that is the recommended dose for the Koi? Really good news it appears to be improving so quickly and I will keep my fingers crossed and hope to hear it has worked out well?

Thanks for the reply @jayc, appreciate your insights. I'll try the frozen bloodworm method and see if there's any difference.
