I haven't updated in a while. My CRS tank is still going well. Lost a few of the older shrimp, but i think they were just old. Not many berried as of late. I have a lot of younger shrimp now that aren't of breeding age yet. Hooefukly things pick up again soon. I moved all the regular cherry shrimp in with the CRS to separate them from my Bloody Mary's. I wish I had more tanks. Couple pics of the bloody Mary shrimp. Thanks

I will try. They are super timid at the moment. Any movement in front of the tank, and they dart of to hid. I bought them from https://nanotanksaustralia.com.au if you want to place an order. 6 for $30. And they had quite a few when I was there. Best to check with them if they can ship in these times of lockdown.

Been tempted to get get some CPD's myself. Looking forward to some pics.

The CPD are in a 3 ft tank, shallow tank, about 80L. It's heavily planted, so they have heaps of places to hide. Maybe too much actually.

Yeah i would have thought that they also back breed, so i may get blue bolts out of nowhere. Another excuse to set up yet another tank. ? I want to preserve the current populations traits as they were selectively bred for a very long time. Would be a shame for it to get too diluted. Will keep the ones with interesting patterns in the main one i think.

The offspring can be anything, my black galaxy pinto had offspring over a month ago, it only gave four babies, and about 8mm now, looking at it now they look like CRS 3 black and 1 red. I have one black panda, a few black pinto's, red pinto and a lot of CRS.
