Well shoot! Thanks so much for the clarification. Was really confused when I tried to google images for either because I have kept the Caridina var of Orange Sunkist Shrimp and I was really annoyed and confused that I kept seeing berried shrimp but no shrimplets ?

There's Orange Sunkist Neocaridina and then there's Orange Sunkist Caridina.... In Neocaridina, it refers to a color mutation of cherry shrimp, N. davidi. In Caridina, it is the species. This is the one that requires brackish(?) water for the larvae/zoe to grow into adults. You can differentiate these shrimp from Neocaridina varieties by the "humped back" and then the red and white banding on the "hump". I believe the images shown by edishrimp are essentially the same shrimp.... N. davidi. (that, or the photos are poorly colored Caridina that people are using as an example to sell the Neocaridina variety as...) The names for these two shrimp are, unfortunately, interchangeable between them. This thus results in a lot of confusion between what people actually have. Either way, the Caridina variety is scientifically known as Caridina cf. Propinqua for anyone who wants to look into this species more.

Thanks mate :) Its an awesome product, I've been working on doing some experiments on two or maybe four 20L Neo tanks to compare shrimp breeding, colour and overall health with and without the oxydator, Leaving everything else as identical as possible. I'm pretty sure the one with the oxydator will grow better shrimp overall, But would be a really cool test just for a bit of fun. I'll update this with some progress pics from the two tanks they are currently in. So far very mixed results with plant growth haha In my Sanzon iwagumi nano scape the MC has just gone nuts since I added the oxydator, Though I've noticed a small patch of cyano that was there before I added it to the tank that has now started spreading quite far where it can across the soil, hasn't webbed across the plants like cyano typically does, Imo the oxydator is preventing this, and having a very posetive impact on this Monte Carlo. As well as general water clarity. I think the chain cranked along with some diatoms that grew on the layer of new black earth I added. Need to poke through the soil with a skewer as underneath the soil is starting to look a bit foul even though I've got tons of lava rock mixed through. As you can see the plants are healthy as even despite the lack of trace, yet anything that isn't living has mad algae growth haha I'm positive this is to do with the oxydators effects on the plants growth and bioavailability of Oxygen and nutrients in water.

The Taiwan/Shadow Bee class saw some magnificent entries this year. 3rd place went to Adam Blackburn for a group of young Extreme (Full Red) Rubies. This was a nice uniform group of shrimp with great colour. Unfortunately they were a bit shy and most of the tanks didn't have clean glass... you can really see it in these pics. Still, I wanted to share the images with you all. 2nd place went to Shrimp My Tank for some exceptional Blue Bolts which just loved the camera. A lovely dark female was awarded Best Individual in show. Congratulations Shannon! 1st place went to our own Jamie Newbreed for an awesome group of Shadow Pandas... congratulations on a winning this demanding category! Unfortunately these were never where I needed them to be and I don't have many shots.

Orange Rili Shrimp from master Cherry breeder gbang. You might care to refer back to my shots from the championships last year to see just how far he's progressed this line in only a year. Well done mate! Amazing Back-line full Carbon Shrimp also from gbang. A difficult trait to stabilise but the master is hard at work and if anyone can do it, he can. Next, the Sunkist/Orange Cherries really jumped out as excellent examples of that line. Blue Dreams were poorly behaved and I was lucky to get any shots at all. Fire Reds, lovely shrimp that need no introduction. They were beauties. In a league of their own, Bloody Mary Shrimp (from guess who) took out first in the Cherry Shrimp class and also Best In Show. Congratulations gbang!! At the top left of the final pic you can see the quality of the males benched in this group. An outstanding line of Cherry Shrimp.
