Lol, yes that's a good description. I take out any bloody Mary's or any other really well coloured ones & place them in the colour specific tanks to strengthen colours & occasionally if i find poorly coloured ones in the colour specific tanks I put them in the rainbow tank. So far this seems to be working really well. Here's another pic if one of the groups in the rainbow tank. Sent from my Elephone P8000 using Shrimp Keepers Forum mobile app

Anything is possible really. I have one tank that has a mixed colony of cherry's (not intentionally but was due to poor advice a few years ago). We were told at that time, if they interbred they'd revert to red carrying the other colours...-bad advice I now know. So the colony began with red, black & yellow cherries,(really good quality solid coloured ones too), who's projeny all ended up a dozen shades of clear lol. This colony however, have since produced (& do so approx every couple of months) various coloured shrimp. About the only colours i don't get are black & yellow funnily enough. So we get bloody Mary's, as well as bad reds, chocolate, blue's in the blue-black, as well as the paler shade that is quite clear, orange & this lovely bronze shade, that reminds me of tarnished silver. & Of course a whole lot more clears. Occasionally there will b a clear that has a yellow cast. This Green looking one is the first time I've ever seen a shade like it. The colony has been going since 2014. I should have photo's of most of the colours, (my phone has photo's of little else other than shrimp lol) I will see if I can upload some for reference. Sent from my Elephone P8000 using Tapatalk

Thanks Bro. Even if it helps one person, it's worth it.

Everything has grown a new leaf or 2 :) water is extremely clean and clear. Yesterday I added like 20 Shrimp mineral balls haha and my little ramshorn population. I think I'm going to put my chocs in here soon and just let them go nuts, so have chocolate Neos and ramshorns lol I like the idea of creating a nice big constant tank so I always have chocs. I have a colony of only 14 plus tons of babies and even some juvies now :) will loooove to see this whole floor just covered with chocs soon enough hehe.

Picture of one of my Prl suffering from a bacterial infection. Notice the bottom of the segment missing and the poor colouration. Picture of a molt using a microscope. The orange part is the melanisation deposit.
