The first test I would attempt with him would be move him to a different tank with possibly different pH and gH but not too extremely different to its current water parameters. This should show you how "stable" its green colouration is, if it keeps the same colouration without turning too yellow or brown then I would say it would be a good candidate for further breeding.

That was just a generic picture of a power supply to an LED light. I used it as an example to figure out if your light uses that 12v plug in adapter. MML has the following options as dimmers for you to choose. https://makemyled.com/mml-touch-dimmer/ - $8 A simple on/off switch that includes a dimmer from 5% - 100%. https://makemyled.com/rotary-dimmer-mml-rotary-dimmer/ - $19 ($30 includes wiring) This is a rotary dimmer that is a capable of controlling several lights with one dimmer. https://makemyled.com/smartphone-wifi-controller-mml-wifi-dimmer/ - $37 This one is wifi controllable on an iOS or Android phone for up to 5 lights, with auto on/off. https://makemyled.com/auto-controller-mml-auto-dimmer/ - $72 This one is the big daddy that does it all. Auto on/off, dims, programmable sunrise, sunsets and moonlights for up to 5 lights. Talk to the guys at MML. they can give you more info.

Does your light use this type of plug? If it does, then it's an easy fit with one of MMLs dimmers.

Ooooo cool! It would be very awesome to have green shrimp.... but I am sure it would make them blend into the plants too well lol Watching to see if you try and breed them, how it goes ?
