So.. i have recently been self inducted to the shrimp world, after being lucky enough to purchase some quality crystal mischlings from a local legend, they are yet to breed. Still so much to learn. I am obsessed. I check them out first thing in the morning and when I get home, ensuring they are ok, have they got enough food etc, any berried females yet?! I have two 10 L nano's set up for CRS, only one has shrimp. I have a larger 75L that is a multi species tank that I am nearly ready to tear down, rescape and set up for shrimp. Should I have the larger tank for culls with the other two for different selective breeding goals or keep the larger tank for the better looking shrimps or.... what do you guys think?

Thanks @jayc, I have slowly added enough coral (measured PH daily) to bump it up to 6.5. Hindsight might suggest that I have not had continuous NH3 leach, but a stalled cycle the whole time as PH kept buffering below 6. This morning is the first reading with 0 Amonia, it appears to be progressing in a regular cycle now. In other news, a few small breeding tanks are going together this weekend. I know which substrate I won’t be using!
