Hey guys. One article I think could benefit a lot of people that like their planted shrimp tanks is planted aquarium fertilizers. What's safe, what's not, how it affects water parameters, what's not recommended i.e. High levels or cleated iron, (FE), iron sands, premixed liquid ferts compared to dry ferts etc. what shrimp are perfect for planted tanks and which are more sensitive to chemical fertilizers. Just a thought as I keep planted tanks as well as shrimp tanks and been combining the two with little successes and a few fails. Everything till now has been trial and error and if I could share some of my experiences with someone so they don't have to go through what I did. I'm not great at writing out detailed information but happy to help someone write it. I have years of experience in fully planted hi-tec aquariums and semi knowledgeable on liquid and dry fertilizers but still a newby with shrimps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
