    Hi guys, A few months ago i was given permission to fill a space with a new tank. The space was small and i was initially only going to keep shrimp. After seeing some possibility i decided to go with a small rack. This rack i built my self out of 42x19 pine which lacquered to waterproof. Its a pretty simple build as long as you keep checking your square and level. The tanks are from kmart. For some reason i really like the build of the tanks they are full glass with a plastic lid. They hold about 20L each. For filtration i have sponges throughout.im running multiple at the moment because my twin ones are new and the other ones i had running in other tanks so they are my seed filters. Originally i wasnt going to use heaters but after a few colder days have decided heaters for the 2 in the colder temps might be worth it just for breeding. Lighting is pretty basic. On the top 2 i have cheap ebay LED and the bottom i have a better LED from the tech den for plant growth so far the growth on the bottom tank is ok. Top two have no substrate and bottom has shrimp soil. I cant remember which brand but i have mixed in some ADA that i had left over. On the bottom i have cooling fans to keep it cool for summer. This is also in the main air-conditioned room so i dont expect the temp to fluctuate too much over summer. Now inhabitants Top is platinum magenta endler trio. Middle is tiger endler trio. Bottom is CRS lower grade as im trying these for the first time im actually happy with the quality and just happy to have CRS Let me mention that the top tanks are for the trios only. Once fry are present they are moved to bigger quartes to grow. Plant life is pretty basic. I have anubias something throughout and on the bottom there is java moss on the wood. Full tank shot Top tank with platinum magenta Middle tank with tigers Bottom CRS tank. Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk

    Yes, that's correct. Saddled-> moult -> mate/fertilised by male -> berried

    If you're feeding the other stuff in the tank, the shrimp shouldn't starve. Just very slowly add a tiny bit more food and watch to make sure it gets eaten by some critter or other in a timely manner. It's not like shrimp are particularly BIG.
