I just told my non-shrimping good friend about the National Championship coming up: He exasperatedly asked whether we make them fight at the championship?! ????

I clean my ph metre electrodes with a firm artist brush, not sure of the number for the brush, just a firm. The bristles are softer than a old toothbrush however firm enough to clean all areas with no scratching.

Hi guys! My GF and I are really starting to get into shrimp and this seems like a good place to join and learn more as well as share our experiences. We just built our setup so now it's getting fun. We have painted fire reds, CRS, and blue rilis at atm. CRS colony is just starting off and rilis are just getting acclimated. Everything is pretty good but working through what looks like a few minor molting issues. Ya know, shrimp keeper issues?. Anyways, glad to be a part of the group!

I was loosing guppies, at the time I was using tap water with water treatment, when changing to rain water as @jayc states, the problems seemed to disappear and slowly growing numbers up again. I use guppies for cleaning excess food in L series catfish tanks and some smaller cichlid tanks, also a live food supplement at times.
