Nogi showing off his Bloody Marys reminded me that I need to update this thread. I've since moved the colony to a larger tank (now roughly 35L instead of 27L). I'm concentrating on getting (1) fully coloured legs and (2) solid overall colour coverage. You'll notice the oldest ladies below with the back stripes have less coverage on their legs than the smaller females, so it seems like I'm getting somewhere. This is my main male. Bred him myself. Notice he even has good colour coverage on his pleopods. Not as good colour as the females, but definitely better than what I started out with. Finally, a little salute to all lovers of "Bloody Mary" cherries!

I have added the vals to the tank and I I think the tank is really starting to take shape. I still need something bulky to sit behind the driftwood just to the right of the Vals... maybe they will send out runners that way.. or I could add another established narrow java fern, or maybe some crypts!

Yeah I am starting to get some really good Royals showing up in the colony. I also like the variety I have slowly reduced the amount of blondes appearing. I struggled with the tiger when I first started with them but now they are going really well. I would really like to get one more tank just to work on the royals and maybe a second one for the Rusty ones.

That little blue one is magnificent! I'm amazed at the variety of colour in the Tiger population -yes I know the reds are cherries- but the range of colours you have in there is really good I just thought Tigers came in blue and Blonde. There is more to Tigers than some of us realise.
