    Hi , My name is Mihai Kovacs , live in Arad , Romania . I love very much shrimps and aquascaping and I try to combine this hobby . I have 1 year experience of ADA ( I worked at ADA Showroom in Europe ) . My first experience with shrimps was in 2012 , which ended beacuse i moved to Budapest , Hungary . Now I'm back in Romania and will present my shrimp project .     Yeh just dumped most of my stones and left 1. Just added a bunch of driftwood and another goldvine with anubias today. Looking good and my shrimps love it. Hopefully will reduce ph in a few days.

    Sounds like the best idea yet. I would have loved a mentor at the start, might have saved me a lot of unfortunate deaths.

    Well these guys are 6+ generation tank bred here in aus. I have found they guys pretty easy to keep as long as wp are all good like any shrimp. My water parameters for these guys are- ph 8.2 tds 200 temp 28.5 They live in a 45cm cube,with 3cm coral sand base,2cm crushed scorpion on top and some lava rock features,running a 1000ltr canister filter,double sponge and heater/chiller..algae growth for them to graze is most important.

    Temperatures in Australia makes it easier and cheaper to keep a tank warm, than it is to chill it. A heater is so much easier and cheaper to buy than a chiller. Let me know when anyone has a pair for sale @ $50 ea. I have an empty tank waiting to be filled.
