Some news for all you SKFers out there. Shortly you might start seeing stuff pop up about the new Mentor/Buddy program which is in the works for release. Basically what this is, is a program which allows premium members to sponsor someone they know in the shrimping hobby who is interested in becoming apart of our community here whilst being deemed a potential contributor and valued member. Premium members will be allowed to sponsor only 1 buddy which will run for a period of 3 months. During this time their buddy receives a premium membership for that period to encourage them to become involved here with us at SKF. Onus is on the premium member to be sure that the person they wish to sponsor is someone with whom they think will be an asset, great fit and most of all an active member. Thought must be given by the mentor in regards to their decision and they should be able to show that the person is not a random they have had little dealings with and will not be one to simply seek a mentor for the benefits of premium membership without being active. If this case was to occur then a review of their buddy status may take place. Obviously this program aims to help continue to grow the awesome community here as we proceed into the new year and the future. By all means if you have some feedback we would like to hear it.
