I used a threaded T-piece and a threaded tap. Again, easy to disassemble. ? The supplier is having fun with AQIS over labelling and has been going through the processes for a couple of months now. Unfortunately still no ETA on when it will be available again. i will definitely place a post when it's on the market again. So had some more time to play today, got the background on and ran final tests. so much nicer with black background. I just used the plastic roll. no nitrites, ammonia and only minimal nitrates after waterchange the other day. so in go the guinea pigs?!? these are are from my pinto and Tibee tanks. Not super fussed on the genetics, just looking forward to blue and red colony to watch.

Yeah most shrimp will graze on algae but not completely get rid of it though, better off with some Otos for sure.

Snails do a great job at controlling brown algae. As do Otos, and similar catfish like plecos.

ive moved every one over to the bigger rack, this one either needs some upgrades or ill move it on and add tanks to the big rack. Adding tanks to the big rack sounds better atm. This one needs new soil and a proper sump set up, thats the main reason im shutting it down. I also dont like how narrow these tanks are. I might clean it up and just us it as a cherry rack with inert soil and stand alone tanks (no sump just air driven filters) but im not sure yet. ill keep posting as i make up my mind.

In regards to the size of school, around 10 is fine. And they shouldn't bother your shrimp too much if you keep them fed. I have observed mine get a bit curious about the shrimp, but like you said their mouths are a bit too small to take on a shrimp. I got mine from Dave at Aquagreen too and am very happy with them. All very healthy and I even got more than what I ordered! Excellent business to deal with!

Thanks for the welcoming post! (sorry didn't came here sooner) I'm a shrimp keeper (keeping tigers, taiwan bees and PRL at the moment) I'll try to make some post showing my shrimps as soon as I get my Taiwan Bee issues under control! Cheers guys!
