Well, though I have said this is for the ultimate rack setup, your entries can be for any type of awesome setup. Doesn't have to be sumped, doesn't need to be a vertical rack system. Any type of ideal setup welcome!!

So thought it best i come and join the fun on this forum proper. A small group of us in Victoria have been putting our heads together on ways to develop Shrimp Club Victoria. For anyone unaware, we operate as part of the aquarium society of Victoria. Here is our great announcement/Release about our next calander event. It would be great to see everyone from Victoria come along on the day, its looking to be one no one would want to forget anytime soon. Time: October 12th at 12:30pm Address: 29 Grant Street, Clifton Hill, Vic. We can officially announce after the success of our first meeting our next meet will be on Sunday 12th October 2014! We will again have an awesome table of raffle prizes and a door prize. These have been donated by our wonderful sponsors and some wonderful hobbiests and we cant wait to show you the goodies... but we will wait till closer to the event ;) David has secured an awesome range of exotic shrimp that will be on show during the meet. We will leave what shrimp as a surprise to the day but they are spectacular! We've organized some talks from our local talent pool of knowledge. One of our main shrimp gurus, the gorgeous DAVID MAI himself will be talking us through various shrimp and how they are graded or classed. A great introduction for anyone whose starting to think about breeding goals or curious about the different quality of shrimp. The glorious JESSLYN SAW will be sharing some of her aquascape knowledge with us. Jesslyn is at the forefront of the aquascaping hobby at the moment. She's incredibly talented and has a great following on MSS. She's also recently started a few new scapes with one under construction at the moment. We cant wait to hear what she shares with us at the meet :). Finally the guys AZ and PAUL will return with a vengeance. Feel free to bring a helmet cause it may include fantails or redskins being launched into the crowd again :P As always there will be the trade table. We encourage everyone to bring anything they may want to sell or donate to the meet. This includes anything they've bred, grown or have left over or unused to do with anything shrimp, scape or aquarium! Plus we will have our usual fun and friendly atmosphere, with some delicious afternoon tea and tunes. :) So everyone bring a plate to share. See you all at the meet!! And dont forget supper, last meet was such a great table of food would be great to match it again.

Few pics from a recent trip into the hills behind Coffs to collect some mosses. Enjoy. Could be a freshwater sponge but need to collect a new sample to confirm under a microscope. Mini pellia Subwassertang

Had a few berries dropped in the last couple of weeks. Shrimpies everywhere. Soon time to cull the adults, my females are OK (generally A grade) but most of the males in this tank in probably B grade. And more on the way.

Let me know. I have some bright gems that will captivate you forever. Oh I forgot.... Totally shrimp safe as I don't feed live foods ;-)

I'm with Ineke. I like my tanks separated. Separate filtration, separate lighting and separate heating/cooling. More control over each tank that way. Disasters/issues are minimised to only one tank. Even if money was no roadblock. If money was no object, I'd build the better tank stand. I have a great idea for a high class tank stand, that's not only good looking but has better functionality than even the amano style stands.

Pretty sure we had red line's and gold leopards on the table. Hopefully we can get some N class endlers sent over from a friend in wa. These are the "most pure" strains of endler possible, and have only ever been imported to Australia once. One person bought every strain and still has them going.

Hmm, I didn't think that through thoroughly did I ? Ooo, ooo, F1 party @ the shrimp club meeting!!! We could feature F1 shrimp along with watching F1 on the big screen ... with Beer and Red Bull.

No about the only things I would like would be better lighting and a G3 filter for each tank . After seeing some disasters in threads I'm quite a believer in keeping each tank individual ( as in not using a sump) also a good room air conditioner might be nice but otherwise I'm content with the way my setup works :)

But if we have a meeting during the F1 ill be at the race and not the meeting. Everyone should just move down to Melbourne...

news update. 2 of my new females are now berried as well. holy cow. must have been a party in the tank

Spotted another orange eye Tibee... Both are now berried :-) Didn't realise they were saddled, so not sure who's the male....but they're in my specific pinto tank, so a interesting mic nevertheless.....

Once the tank construction was done, I have asked for extra support to be put in to make my lovely wife happier. The tank is now over engineered to the max. Euro braces for the bottom Glass rods put in the corners Euro and Cross bracing for the top! The house should be safe now!
