Fair enough, but do give the seller an opportunity to make amends..etc. We all make mistakes ..... even me, oh hang on, I was later proven right. Lol

Hey All, I would like to share this photo of one of my bluest juveniles from my colony. He is from a bluish/black female. The juvenile is not spectacular, but nevertheless, its my bluest one! Thanks for looking :)

No UV is used, they are on the front counter of the shop but I think they will be going to a new home tomorrow. Petfish can have them if he wants and play with them.

Week 4 Mischlings and TB's have moved in! Fauna 20~ Mischlings 2 x King Kongs 1 x Panda Now it's a waiting game! Not too much moulting activity at the moment... I see about 1 moult every couple days. I haven't lost any yet *touches woods* and they all seem to be increasing in size very quickly. I have also been feeding them a variety of Mosura Excel, Shirakura Shrimp Ball (White) and Snowflakes. Only 4-5 of them nibble on it for a minute or two before they scurry off. I'm imagining that it's because there's still a lot of micro/biofilm in the tank for them to graze on as they are currently picking in and around the driftwood. Hardscape Introduced a few pieces of gold-vine yesterday to see how it would look against the darker existing wood. It hasn't seen water for a year so it needs to be re-waterlogged. We are hoping to use it to simulate roots creeping around the rocks. Plants Buce The Buce has been growing exceptionally well; getting about 2-3 new leaves every fortnight! Crypt Parva (Tissue Culture) About 60% of it has melted away. This is the AI variant... the one from EA is a much stronger variant. Algae We are lucky *crosses fingers*. No sign of anything apart from a light haze of diatoms/green dust on the sides. Water Parameters GH / PH / TDS 4 / <6.0 / 150 / 22° C The pH is too low to read for the standard kit; so will have to test again with a low-range kit. Top-ups with RO water. We are topping up about 1 litre a day from evaporation (would love to know where that amount of water is actually going to)! Addition of SaltyShrimp Minerals only if the TDS in the main tank has dropped.

Hello Ben, here in europe we have several lines of PRL and PBL. But originally they all come from Asia. In these lines (Benibachi, Ueno, Akaebinosato, etc) will not be selected according to degrees but primarily by color cover. For one shrimp with good color coverage, even in the legs, is often called here sometimes about €700 (about $1000). I have some PRL from the Akaebinosato line, but no highgrades. I hope the higher grades in colour coverage come through selection. One example out of my tank: Greeting from Germany Lars

I found these in my super red cherry tank, I took them out as culls, put them in my sons Endler's Livebearer tank, figured I'll see what happens. Here are the offsprings of the few brown shrimp I "culled"..... Let me know what you think.... These are the original ones!!! And the offsprings....first generation... Second generation..... Third Generation....

Very selective line breeding is the only way to do it properly! Will take some time but is definitely worth it.

Or remove what you are trying to treat. And treat it outside the tank. It would be easier than trying to catch shrimps. Can't your mesh divider be removed? Replace it with something else as a temporary divider, or a spare mesh divider. Always good practice to have spares. You can then treat the item outside of your tank and dose higher levels to your heart's content.
