    thats exactly how you do it. you can also choose the manipulate the flow by choosing to turn on both or just one.

    Hi Matty If you are set on connecting them in series, only turn on the second canister filter. Running both at the same time is not necessary and can damage the motors. Be warned that running canisters inline will severely drop the flow rate. A better option is to run them in parallel. Better yet, run them separately as they were intended for.
