i guess you could make something of them, we do get a few redish ones and alot of green and occasionally a blue, i should keep a couple properly, i want the crystals though do you think they would go ok together? the rifle is a pretty big shrimp though

I have about 16 Riffles ... I think they are a great looking and interesting shrimp!

They berry up all the time but never babies .... been told you need green water .... also been told you need brackish (but I don't think this is correct) .... and I am not doing either of these things at the moment (if ever)!

Anyway I kept mine with chameleon and cherries and there were not very many babies from them so I am sure the riffles fan them out when they are newly hatched .... so I will not keep them with my crystals.

Cheers

Greg

yeah id imagine they would hammer the babies, as for breeding iv never tried but here in the river theres bloody heaps and we are a fair few kms away from the brackish, not sure what you mean by green water? here their usually found at the head of rapids in pretty fast moving water, is it possible babies are let go to float down into a larger pool away from the adults and make their way back up to the rapids as they grow and in a tank set up their just eaten?
