Panda and shadow panda mixed

I just wonder would it be wise to mix panda n shadow panda together as im expecting their arrival next week.

They will cross breed, it depends on what offspring you are aiming for! I wouldn't have a problem keeping them together!

Offspring will be both, its ok. Some pandas were born shadows and lost the blue, some keep the blue. U must be excited to receive them! :)

 

Just remember to do a slow drip acclimation (4+ hrs) until TDS of the tank is same as the water they come in and all should be good.

The seller told me the panda might to have wine red, bluebolt, KK gene. So what im trying to achieve just to have pure panda offsprings. The seller told me its better to mix bluebolt to strengthen its gene, is that true?

Just wonder how do i exactly need to do to have pure line?

If i have one or two KK offsprings, how do i need to purify its blood line? Do i need to buy extra KK to gain higher probabilities of same gene offsprings?

What can i expect from mischilings as i also got 5 from the seller?

Another thing, what would be recommended food for panda?

*insert shameless plug* Shrimp Crack is a fantastic food for all shrimp & Shrimp Snow is an excellent "Leave-in" food as they will graze on it & the Mycelia that grows on it, it doesn't foul the water either!

Now I have got that out of the way, lol. You will always get KK's from pandas & pandas from KK's as they are just a a different colour pattern of the same coloured TB, just like S, SS & SSS in crystal shrimp. You will eventually reduce the number of them produced but they will alway throw variations when breeding.

Mischling have the potential to throw anything, I made some from a pure panda x CSR & they threw RR, WR, KK, panda & BB's, there's not enough known about their genetics to be able to predict what's going on yet.

The best way to improve the blue in shadow pandas is to cross them with BB's, this will strengthen the blue over the white on the pandas.

You must be the worlds best breeder to be able to X pure panda with red cherry shrimp squiggs.
