This maybe a really stupid question, but under most/all of our avators, there's a @Mention....what does that represent ? What's happen to the location/where we're from signature ? Thought that was useful

@BlueBolts you click on it to mention the persons name, like I just did.
And that persons name mentioned will get a notification as well, so they get alerted to read what you have written.

They have to enable it for the notification to work. I have a thread about it in the announcements somewhere.

You can also just type the @ symbol & then the members user name straight after it.

I have been trying to use the @mention links

When I do, nothing happens .

I also try just typing the @membername but when I do I never get a hyperlink showing.

eg @NoGi   not showing an active link for me, but perhaps it does for the person mentioned?

 

Also I am having trouble pasting anything, whether directly into the body of text, or into the quote box.

 

At least thanks to @jayc I have mastered the photo upload.

It's broken so I removed it. It's built into the next version of the forum software so it will eventually return.
