Would riffles go with northwest river prawns?

As the title suggests. I would be interested in compatability. Also if anyone has any spots to catch them near Campbelltown nsw

I'm assuming 'north west river prawns' are a species of Macrobrachium (like in your profile pic)? If so, it would be a bit of a gamble. Macros are notorious for grabbing and eating shrimp and even fish in aquaria. That said, I have seen macros and (large female) riffles in the same small pools in the wild. In the end my recommendation is that they wouldn't go together in aquaria because there isn't enough space for the riffles to escape.

Yeah I'm talking about microbrachium bullatum. Thanks I just wanted some more cool shrimp. Do you think they might go with some tetra species?

Assuming they are the smaller species of tetra and your water is not too acidic, the riffles will be fine with them. I've had mine in with medium sized rainbowfish with no problems, but they had lots of plants to hide in.
