I bought some of this but not sure how often it is actually meant to be used. I am adding it to mature tanks as an extra , I didn't add it to the tank when first filled. I already use mineral powder weekly so do I use the bee max weekly as well?

I generally use about a half tsp per 100L every week or two & I let it soak in some tank water before I add it to the tank, I'm thinking of adding more as the tanks populate. :encouragement:

I use the mineral powder a couple of times a week, smaller doses but use the bee max weekly to keep good bacteria levels! They both feed/assist in different areas. Minerals and bacteria, both essentials.

Actually, I have forgotten how much I should use when setting up my new 24x12x18 tanks, for under the substrate? And when you say tsp squiggle, is that normal teaspoon, as opposed to the white spoon included?

I add the mineral powder 1-2 times a week, plus BetaG and I use Biozyme alternate days. I'm thinking perhaps the bee max can replace the Biozyme but they still both do slightly different things. I just wonder if sometimes I'm adding too many minerals etc. But I will add the bee max to my weekly regime after water changes.

A normal tsp dude, for a 2ft x 1.5ft floor I usually sprinkle about 2-3tsp across the bottom to get a light covering. :encouragement:

Jay, how long do you think till I'll have to add it to my four foot? I did 2 tsp per foot under the substrate and the same for micronektron

I use the super bee max every alternatie week, and/or I see issues with moulting or clarity.. Reckon it's a pretty good product, and it does do different things vs bioplus (has Chitosan).

Sweet. Once the tanks cycled I'll probably add a little bit to weekly water changes
