Welcome to the forum mate! It's a great place to learn all you need to know about shrimp and we believe every question is a good question . What have you got in mind for stocking? And have you got some pics?

:)

Welcome to the forum, as brassy said what types of shrimp are you looking at keeping?

There is a wealth of knowledge here so don't be afraid to ask questions.

Cheers mick

Hi Welcome to SKF it's the best place to be to learn about shrimp. No question is a silly question here. The only way to learn is to ask ,ask, and then ask again!

I will try and take a few pics tonight now that I have a light for the tank. I am wanting to start off with an inexpensive shrimp (any recommendations?) and see if they breed first. I liked the look of some yellow shrimp but can't remember the name of them.

Cherry Shrimp :) best place to start, you have a great deal of colours to choose from aswell. Reds, chocolate, black, blue velvet, snowballs, yellows, sunkist, Rilis which are coloured head, clear or diff colour in middle then coloured tail.

all vary in price but you can get reds, rilis and yellows etc pretty cheap especially if you just want culls you will even find some people giving them away for free or really really cheap.
