Shrimp and mussels

Anyone have mussels with there shrimp?

Is there any down side to housing them together like shrimplets getting sucked in?

Have pondered over this some months back, and the BIGGEST negative for me was that if the mussels die, it'll pollute the water so quickly ! I have nano tanks too, so not worth the stress, and doubt there's any direct benefit...

I keep them together with shrimp and fish, but in ponds and there is no trouble at all, it is said about OS ones spawning and the young starting as a fish parasite ?? I have done it for a long time and not seen it here, that doesn't mean it won't happen here, but just because it happens OS doesn't mean it will happen here.

Nano tank think twice, because you only know they are dead when they open up and yes they move around in substrate, so plants are uprooted.
