Hi everyone.

Glad to be a part of the community. I am getting right into shrimps, and have been keeping fish and working in the ornamental fish industry for years. Hope to learn a lot here, I have heard lots of good things about the forum.

Cheers

Ben

Definitely love the shrimp Wayne. I have just set up a 2ft tank for my son who is 6. I have got some cherries and a nice shrimp gravel. He is doing very well keeping an eye on the temps and feeding tiny amounts to them. Next he (We ;)) will be getting some CRS to add to the mixture. Then from there who knows.

Mate I love the cherries so much variety in them, all the colour of the rainbow, My advice is to stick to them for a while before venturing into the harder to keep shrimp. I have been breeding cherries in their various colour varieties now for around 3 years, and it always amazes me at the new colours that pop up, I am currently working on three projects as well as fire reds , They are Green , cobolt blue, and red tigers, Oh and also blue velvets all new colours from cherries that have shown up in the past year,

Good luck to both of you, Great to see the little blokes getting involved, Just yell if you need something

Regards

Wayne

Thanks. THe blues and greens are some of my favourites too. As with all my other addictions, (fish, fishing and gardening), I/we will soon have many tanks filled with a rainbow of coloured shrimp. :)
