Hey Ron, welcome to the forum, definitely the best place for knowledge, community & fun but I must warn you, shrimp are very very addictive! They are like Pokemon, gotta collect them all, lol :congratulatory: Don't hesitate to ask as many question as you want, there's no such thing as a stupid question here! :encouragement: We love pics so whack some up when you get a chance. Hope you have as much fun here as we do :victorious:

Cool. There's so many varieties of soil, and shrimp specific one.... I use Benibachi for ALL my tanks, and I double up each one with Caridina and Neocaridina. The shrimp soil tends to buffer PH to 6.4, which is ideal for Caridina (more soil lowers PH etc...), so if you're keeping CRS/TB's etc... benibachi or a shrimp specific soil that buffers PH & GH etc... is ideal. Can you use any nuetral/inert soil for cherries though. Aquotix has all your needs.
