My Rilli Pure White

Thanks bb but I was being serious because I saw this

http://www.silaneshrimp.com/index.php/articles/components/Crystal%20Red%20Shrimp%20Blog/88-extreme-flowerhead-mosura.html

silane is one of Asians top breeders

i got this from a anpther forum

"Actually' date= SSSS grade is something that Silane himself introduced back in 2008.http://www.shrimpnow.com/mygallery/s...hp?i=1881&c=17

These shrimp however, are typically not sold and only used as breeding stock to increase the amount of flower, crown, etc... offspring within a breeding colony. Which is why, you will not hear about SSSS as often since they are rarely sold to the public. (I only got lucky with mine.)"

I'm sure every serious member here has heard of silane but the mosura is referring to the flower, crown patterns on the top of the head not the side patterns you are referring to (which are way too common in most snow whites)

Neosin, the one on Silane's site has red on the head and also under the chest. Yours doesn't. Yours has blue on the side which indicates that it is carrying BB genes.

Don't worry Neosin, BB's been dreaming a long time now, but if he wants to waste a tank, hey it's his tank! By the way I would love to be proven wrong?

ninja it is a snow white not a mischling so it wouldn't have BB genes would it? I see black/grey not blue on the side of the head.

I'm confused, most of those SSSS extreme don't look like any pattern to me, they just look random.

I get where you are coming from with the side patterns but I've had a look on google and if you look at all the images below the patterns on the side of all the snow white on google are just transparent parts which can see through the body which gives a pale tinge to it. I'm positive I've seen a few snow whites in my tank with definite black markings on the side which is different to the snow whites below. I'll grab more photos but the one i posted is the biggest atm and he/she is only .5 ish cm

Can't believe these were his last words...:sorrow: the poor fella, shouldn't have grew balls (blue as honcho has mentioned) and showed up the ninja like that!

Seriously BB has gone quiet for a while now hasn't he?

Ninja, the blue on the head may just be the reflection/refraction....

Noesin, Silane's acclaimed SSSS, has a definite red marking where it's normally clear. Perhaps a macro shot of your shrimp would confirm the colouration. I doubt the SSSS would be just a genetic abnormalty that occurs, as these international acclaimed breeders would selectively breed a pattern/colour to demonstrate their dedication to a program.

Maybe related via selective breeding from a red bolt ?

The head "pattern" in GB/SW is a common trait.

The possibility of rilli within TB's is possible, question is whether via selective breeding, it can bread true ?

No need for him to wait :)

lol here are more pics for ninja :P

these are from the same drops' date=' i have not idea who the parents are and this is why...

About a year ago a friend of a friend was forced back to Korea to join the army. At the time he was keeping all sorts of crazy high end and low end shrimps. Strange thing was, he mixed everything in his tank. He said he wasn't in it for the selling/breeding and only as a hobby so he didn't care about mixing the shrimps. When he left, he sold all his shrimp gear, shrimp, and his entire tank to me which had about 100-200 shrimp.

Everything was going well until about half year later when shrimps started dying. I had no idea and the population was getting smaller every month. I was about to give up and trade everything for yellows when I noticed lots of shrimplets after I changed the tank into a planted tank. I added co2 which brought the ph to 5-5.5 in the tank. I dosed 6 times, yes 6 times the recommended amount of excel, and dosed some flourish into the tank. I also took out about 6 air sponge filters he had in the tank and it must have been something that I did which made things better for the shrimps? Anyhow, now I have all sorts of weird stuff in my drops like Mishlings, pure orange crystal shrimps (could be red wine), etc.

anyhoo enjoy these pics of whites from the same drop, I'm sure some of them are black markings and not the same type you see in snow whites and goldens, I guess only time will tell when they are fully grown :D

The waiting game begins!!!
