My Shrimp Tank

newbreed

Recommended Posts

Hi All, Finally got around to getting some photos of my new Shrimp House. Has been up and running for approximately 5 months with some fish (now most of these have been rehoused). Apologies in advance as I used my Iphone to take these. post-3445-139909861931_thumb.jpg post-3445-139909861929_thumb.jpg post-3445-139909861927_thumb.jpg

Some closer ups of the new residents. Have had these 10 in the tank now for six days and they seem very happy. Of the original ten I can find 9, 7 confirmed female and 2 confirmed males. post-3445-139909861934_thumb.jpg post-2252-139909852133_thumb.jpg post-3445-139909852136_thumb.jpg post-3445-139909852138_thumb.jpg

Very nice tank and you have some nicely saddled females there. Your aquascaping is very good- I really suck at that:(

Some have the gift and some just can't get it right.Well done -so when do you put the Blue Bolt in there or will it rust:encouragement:

Just luck on that account, it's mainly just overgrown with peacock moss and the crypts have taken to the substrate. Combination of Fluval Shrimp and Fluval Stratum. Seems to have done the job. Most important is the shrimp seem to be very happy, a week down and more moults left today. Maybe baby shrimplets soon??

Have ordered a TDS pen which will get here next week. Will be able to give parameters then.
