Hi all ,

i would like to know if anyone is adding co2 with there shrimp tank. Does adding little co2 effect the survival rate of shrimplet. I know some people do it with cherries but has any one done it with high grade crystal?

Had used CO2 on my tanks when my soils stopped buffeting my PH to control my PH....no probs whatsoever....just make sure the CO2 doesn't saturate the tank, so as you mentioned, a little is no probs whatsoever. Had an incident 2-3 years ago where my entire colony of CBS was killed by CO2, as my valve malfunctioned...

I have a max. of 2bps in my planted shrimps tank which holds SSS grades, and Snow Whites.

Then for my other breeding setups, 1bps for King Kongs and Blue Tigers :)

I run co2 w/ph controller in my shrimp display tank to a point that even my hc carpet pearls like crazy but for safety I also run an air stone and make sure that my water surface is always moving for correct gas exchange.
