All I need now is a baby food mix to go with it.

I've seen baby shrimplets 6mm big eat Shrimp Kandy Feast. Any shrimplets smaller than that usually only eat biofilm.

If you already have powdered spirulina, mixed a bit of it with tank water and spray it with a pipette (pic below) over your mosses for the babies.

Is this food ok to leave in the tank for a day or more, or should it be taken out after x hours?

hmm, I have never seen it last for more than a day. Unless maybe too much has been added, in which case, yes take the excess out after 24 hours.

if your shrimp don't swarm and finish it off, something is wrong!!

Might not have as big a colony as you guys but these guys sure did love it. The great thing is, is that the rasboras don't touch it at all, and I have peace of mind that the shrimp are being fed ? Thanks @jayc3694da53-c303-4319-8369-c7ae427cc2a9.thumb.jpg.40f46b8feec0bcde213fe978765200e4.jpg

I love seeing how tightly packed the greedy little fellas can get trying to get a piece.
